Tangshan Baotie Coal & Chemical Co., Ltd. (Baotie) is dedicated to the production and sale of maleic anhydride, refined benzene, dinaphthol, water reducer, bitumen, anthracene oil, and methanol which are all refined from tar and crude benzene. Our company is located in Tangshan which is famous for its iron and steel industry and 100km away from Tianjin Port.
Baotie launched our tar process with production capacity of 100,000 tonne/y and crude benzene process with production capacity of 30,000 tonne/y in 2005, with integrated technology of refining coal products. We built a maleic anhydride plant in 2006, a water reducer plant in 2007, and a dinaphthol plant in 2008. Furthermore, in order to sharpen our international competitive edge, Baotie expanded the production of maleic anhydride to 40,000 tonne/y. Our methanol plant will be planned to start in 2009.
